Who is Dooley?

Dooley was written the night before St. Patrick’s Day. It was originally published as an audio recording on the album Leprechauns and Unicorns by The Irish Brigade in 1985, and has been recited countless times by memory to family and friends.

This book was made as a Christmas gift for the author.

About the Author

Tim is a Past President of the Shamrock Club, a former ‘Irishman of the Year’, and the co-founder of the St. Patrick’s Day Irish Family Reunion. He is a pillar in the Irish-American community of central Ohio. In his spare time, he teaches his grandson Milo how to play the bodhran.

About the illustrator

Currently living in Worthington, Ohio with her family, Kelly Friend is a visual artist and has been teaching visual art for over 20 years. Kelly is a painter, illustrator, jewelry maker, soapmaker, gardener, writer, and lover of all things nature. She has been studying herbalism for the past several years.
